What makes KL Employment Law different
KL Employment Law is a specialist employment law firm that acts exclusively for employers.

How we work with employers and HR teams
Employment law issues are rarely just legal. They often involve people, process and operational decisions.
We understand that many of these situations are sensitive and can be difficult to manage.
We work alongside employers and HR teams to provide advice that is:
- Clear and easy to apply
- Commercially grounded
- Responsive when needed
- Aligned with your organisation and processes
We do not overcomplicate matters or rely on legal jargon. We focus on practical solutions that work in real organisations.
Our experience in workplace mediation also supports this approach, helping clients resolve issues constructively and avoid unnecessary escalation where possible.
Working with HR managers and internal teams
Many of our clients are HR managers, HR directors and senior leaders responsible for people decisions.
We recognise the pressures that HR teams face when dealing with complex and sensitive situations, often balancing legal risk with operational realities.
Our approach is collaborative. We work as a trusted external employment law partner, supporting your internal team and helping you move forward with clarity and confidence.

Kate Hindmarch

Kate advises employers and HR teams on complex and sensitive employment law matters, including workplace investigations, disciplinary processes and senior employee issues.
